The River book workshop used cyanotype mark making in a woven book structure, referencing the flow of water.
Earth Book Workshop | 2012
Potatoes from the earth were used to create prints on rusted and ink stained papers. These were made into a stitched artist book.
Fire Book Workshop | 2012
In mid winter the fire was on, the billy boiling and ash used to create sooty fire prints. Paper was burnt and marked with sparklers (gunpowder prints).
These prints were stitched using the Japanese stab binding technique to create fire books.
Flag Book Workshop | 2012
Take to The Air workshop instructed students in making flag books using woodblock printing techniques.
