There are some moments in life when you just know you’re on the right track. This week I took a giant leap and landed in Zurich to go to business women’s event Sigrun Live.

Some of you who have read about my journey this year will know that I am working on my creativity business. Did I tell you i have an Icelandic coach, Sigrun? The universe sometimes conspires to line up all the ducks in a row and help them fly off the wall and that has definitely happened this year.

This year I dared to be courageous. I left my job of 10 years and headed into unchartered waters. I signed up to learn about teaching online courses, which led to me making videos about my creative process, sending out a monthly newsletter, hosting online creativity challenges and thinking of myself as an entrepreneur.

I did not know when I signed up for Sigrun’s online business course that I would be going to Iceland for an artist residency. Nor did I think that I would be anywhere near Switzerland when she held her business summit, Sigrun Live.

But there I was this weekend singing on stage surrounded by 200 strong, determined and powerful entrepreneurial women dancing to the strains of Robby William’s song “I Love My Life” and crying from the sheer emotion of the event.

I feel like I am ready to really launch into a new creative adventure, inspiring women to dare to be creative so that they can live a more joyful, fulfilled life. Changing the world, one woman at a time. Its mission achievable and I am stepping up to the plate. If these 200 women can do it, I can too.
