Seeking my soul purpose

Seeking my soul purpose

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in Iceland, 2019.

Today  I would have been in Iceland for the summer solstice.

Instead I am here celebrating this important seasonal and cosmological event at home.

A turning of the seasons, as day and night equalise and the world begins it’s new cycle.

This year it is a triple cosmological event with a solar eclipse ‘ring of fire’ in the middle of the solstice.

It is a powerful cosmological time propelling us forward into the future.

These energies are vibrational forces which activate the earth and ourselves. It is a time for new directions, new ways of being, an awakening for ourselves and the planet.

The world has been in lockdown since around the equinox of March 20 to the solstice today.

During this time of pause and reset, we have undergone incredible changes both social, political and personal. It has been a challenging time on all levels as we have had to be present within ourselves.

An intake of breath as we pause in a holding pattern, waiting.

Then the out breath as we have an outpouring of rage against injustice with the death of George Floyd in America which has sparked global protests against racial inequality and injustice.

So now what is next?

What will this new future be like in the “next normal” in these continuing world crises?

I think of these things today as I remember Iceland and what could have been.

For Iceland is a place like no other. A land of fire and ice. A cauldron for alchemy.

This year I was going to be attending a women’s entrepreneurial summit with my Icelandic coach Sigrun at the amazing Harpa Concert Hall.

When it was obvious that the world was going into lockdown, she cancelled the event until 2021.

Instead this week, ticket holders were treated to a 5 day online feast of international speakers talking about female empowerment through business.

These women talked about world change, the awakening of global consciousness as people “woke up”.

It was no coincidence that this summit was scheduled for the solstice.

Those powerful vibrations would have been sent out from each and every woman attendee, myself included, from the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital.

Just like the powerful light launched into the stratosphere from the Imagine Peace Tower.

Yoko Ono instigated the construction of this Imagine Peace Tower more than ten years ago to commemorate her husband, John Lennon’s birthday. She chose Videy Island, near Reyjkavik, Iceland for its location.

This laser light beam is “lit’ each year on October 9th and radiates out from a wishing well with the words "imagine peace" in 24 languages. The impulse for world peace is renewed again and again.

Last year I was there on October 9th to witness the lighting of the Imagine Peace Tower.

Such an emotional event. And so Iceland calls and I have answered.

Why? Because I believe that part of my seeking has always been to find my soul’s purpose.

Now I have an Icelandic coach who inspires me and thousands of other women to rise up.

So I will be returning to Iceland to go to Sigrun’s Self Made Summit in Iceland next year.

To feel that positive optimism and can do attitude that has kept my spirits alive during the Covid lockdown.

Twice a year Sigrun opens up her on line business program for new people to join.

For the next five days there is an opportunity to join in and turn your passion into a profitable online business. If you are interested then click here to find out more.

Until I get to Iceland next year, I will continue on my mission to inspire fellow creatives to find their authentic voice and activate their creativity so they too feel empowered.

Who knows where this entrepreneurial adventure will lead me. Definitely back to Iceland in June 2021.
